Global Roles and Project access rights in Allure TestOps

    Roles

There are 3 types of global roles of end users in TestOps.

    • Guest
    • User
    • Admin

    Guest

A Guest user has no rights to make any changes to the system. This role is created only for viewing, i.e. always has Read-Only rights.

Users with the Role Guest do not consume the commercial licences.

    Role User

Users  have permissions for all actions for independent work in TestOps except configuring the instance global parameters. Users can create their own projects and work completely autonomously within their projects based on the project access level defined by project owners.

    Role Admin

Admins have maximum rights in the system. Admins can see and perform any actions in any project defined in an Allure TestOps instance. Adminms has access to global TestOps settings that affect all users and all projects. Can invite new users, deactivate existing users, change user roles. Update the license in the system (If it is not expired yet).
In fact, this role User + rights to global level settings and unlimited access to all projects.
